Plant in full sun in a well-drained, ordinary garden soil. Once established, it needs little watering and thrives in dry conditions.
Diplotaxis tenuifolia is a native, non-woody broad-leaved herb that reaches around 40 centimetres in height. It requires full sun and grows in dry, ordinary soil with a neutral to slightly acid reaction. This warmth-loving species is tolerant of low disturbance and is not salt-tolerant. Its tiny seeds weigh about 0.28 milligrams each. The plant flowers over a long season, from May through to October.
