Position in full sun; soil should be fresh to moderately moist, of normal fertility, and neutral to slightly acidic. This plant has low disturbance tolerance – maintain a settled planting site once established. Flowers appear in July and August.
Linaria repens is a non-woody, broad-leaved herbaceous plant attaining roughly 37 cm in height. Flowers appear in July and August. The species favours full sun and fresh, moderately moist, mesotrophic soils with a neutral to slightly acidic reaction. It is associated with low-disturbance habitats. Diaspores are very small (about 0.22 mg) and leaf area averages 200.5 mm². Its original distribution includes parts of Europe, southwestern Europe, southeastern Europe and Africa; in Great Britain it is classed as an archaeophyte, having been introduced before AD 1500 and now established.
