Cerastium glomeratum is a non-woody, broad-leaved herbaceous plant reaching a typical height of 18 cm. It is native in Great Britain. The leaves have a mean area of approximately 114 mm² and the minute seeds weigh about 0.06 mg. Flowering occurs from March to September. The species occupies sunny sites with moderately moist, moderately nutrient-rich soils of neutral to weakly acidic reaction, and it is associated with low levels of ground disturbance.
