Odontites vernus is a herbaceous, non-woody, broad-leaved plant in the family Orobanchaceae. Native in Great Britain, it favours sunny positions on fresh to moderately moist, neutral to slightly acid soils of medium nutrient status, in moderately warm conditions. The plant blooms from June to August, providing both nectar and pollen to visiting insects.
