Oryctes nasicornis is a robust scarab beetle in the family Scarabaeidae. United Kingdom Species Inventory records indicate its presence in Great Britain, although its status remains indeterminate. The adult beetle attains a body length of about 3.6 centimetres and a mass of roughly 3.2 grams. It has a notably thick, rounded form, with a body width of approximately 22 millimetres and a height of around 16 millimetres. The elytra are roughly 20 millimetres long, and the species possesses relatively broad wings with a measured wing area of 341 square millimetres. Pronounced sexual dimorphism is evident between males and females. Colouration tends to be dark, as indicated by a high lightness reading typical of dark cuticle. The head and pronotum both bear a moderate covering of fine setae, contributing to the overall hairiness score.
