Salix eriocephala is a woody, broad-leaved, deciduous shrub or tree from the willow family (Salicaceae). It can reach a height of approximately 12.5 metres. It originates from northern and eastern North America, including the northeastern and southeastern United States. In Great Britain it is an introduced species that has become established. Flowers appear from April to May.
