The adult is minute, averaging 1.3 mm in length and weighing about 0.13 mg. Its body is rounded, with a width of 0.49 mm and a height of 0.46 mm. The elytra are 0.88 mm long, and the pronotum measures 0.49 mm in length. The head is relatively small, bearing eyes of 0.013 mm² and short antennae 0.22 mm long. The legs are slender: the hind femur reaches 0.22 mm and the front femur 0.19 mm. The wings are well developed, 2.02 mm in length and 0.88 mm² in area. The beetle is notably hairy, especially on the upper abdomen and pronotum, and its overall appearance is light-coloured.
