Epilobium parviflorum is a native herbaceous perennial in Great Britain. It is a broad-leaved, non-woody terrestrial plant reaching approximately 0.5 m in height, with an average leaf area of around 769 mm². The species requires sunny, moist conditions and typically grows on calcareous to neutral, moderately fertile soils, showing low tolerance to disturbance and salt. Preferred habitats include wet meadows, marshes, fertile grasslands and woodland edges. Flowering occurs from June to September. The seeds are extremely small (diaspore mass about 0.08 mg), readily dispersed by wind. Its Red List status is *, indicating no current threat.
