Nomada fabriciana

Nomada fabriciana is a cleptoparasitic bee of the family Apidae. It is bivoltine, with adult activity between April and June. Like other Nomada cuckoo bees, it does not construct its own nest but instead lays its eggs in the nests of other solitary bees, where its larvae develop on the host's pollen and nectar provisions. The female has an intertegular distance of 1.49 mm, which gives an index of body size, and a relatively long tongue measuring 3.12 mm.
