The head is relatively small (width 0.84 mm) bearing short antennae (0.43 mm) and mandibles of moderate aspect. The elytra are short (1.9 mm) compared with the membranous wings, which measure 4.1 mm in length and yield a wing area of 3.9 mm² and a wing loading of 0.38. The overall colour is very light, with a lightness value of 84.9 on a 0–100 scale, giving the beetle a pale, almost whitish appearance.
