These terms supplement the B2B Terms and govern the booking and display of advertising placements (Ad-Places).
§ 1 Subject Matter
The subject is the time-limited placement of labelled advertising, product, or brand content of the customer at defined positions within the Naturkompass ecosystem. Scope, position, format, and term result from the booking confirmation or offer.
§ 2 Booking and Term
Ad-Places are generally booked on an annual basis. The booking is concluded upon confirmation in text form. Automatic renewal occurs only if expressly agreed.
§ 3 Labelling
Advertising content is clearly labelled as such (e.g. "Ad" / "Sponsored") to preserve the separation between editorial and advertising content.
§ 4 Customer Obligations and Warranties
- The customer holds all necessary rights to the supplied content (image, text, trademark).
- The content is permissible under competition, trademark, copyright, and product law.
- No misleading environmental/green claims; ecological statements must be substantiable.
- No unlawful, harmful-to-minors, discriminatory, or misleading content.
The customer indemnifies the provider against third-party claims based on a breach of these warranties.
§ 5 Editorial Control
The provider reviews advertising content and may reject, adapt, or remove content that violates laws, these terms, or the editorial guidelines, or does not fit the conservation-oriented environment. There is no entitlement to display specific content.
§ 6 Performance, Reach, and Outages
The provision of the booked placement is owed, not a specific reach, click, or conversion figure. In case of significant outages attributable to the provider, the term is extended accordingly or credited pro rata.
§ 7 Remuneration
Remuneration results from the offer and is stated net plus statutory VAT. Billing is for the booked period and, unless otherwise agreed, in advance.
