Scientific profile

This small cerambycid has a body length of 4.99 mm and a mass of 0.0048 g. The head is 0.94 mm wide, with eyes of only 0.042 mm² area and 0.24 mm length. The pronotum is 1.02 mm long and 1.21 mm wide, and the elytra are 3.56 mm long with a width of 0.84 mm. The antennae are notably elongated at 5.31 mm, well over the body length. Mandibles are short and broad, 0.51 mm long with a proximal width of 0.24 mm, giving a mandible aspect ratio of 0.48. Legs are proportioned as follows: front femur 1.16 mm, mid femur 1.08 mm, hind femur 1.28 mm; front tibia 0.96 mm, mid tibia 1.05 mm, hind tibia 1.23 mm.
