Stenurella nigra is a slender beetle belonging to the longhorn family Cerambycidae. It measures approximately 7.5 mm in body length and weighs 14.7 mg. The elytra extend to 5.2 mm, while the antennae reach 4.5 mm. Wing length is 6.4 mm, yielding a wing loading value of 1.17 and an aspect ratio of 2.57. The eyes are small, with an area of 0.29 mm². Hairiness is moderate overall (total score 9.32), becoming distinctly denser on the ventral abdomen (score 14.55). No sexual dimorphism was detected in the measured traits. Activity is recorded solely in May, pointing to a brief adult flight period.
